Kivanc Tatlitug known as “Mohannad” in the famous series “Gumus” (Noor), was born in october 27th 1983 in Adana in a five children family.
Kivanc was an excellent basketball player, so he joined the Ülkerspor sports club as a basketball athlete when they moved to Istanbul.
Then he was recruited by a modeling agency after his mother sent them pictures of him. He competed and won the Best Model Of The World modeling pageant in 2002. Since then, he has worked as a professional model and actor.
Then he married Miss Turkey Azra Akin who was “Miss World of 2002“.
His popularity in Arab World grew up after he played the role of Mehmet in Gumus (a Turkish soap opera). Mehmet became Mohannad in the wildly popular Arabic language soap opera version, Noor.
